How we handle the information you share with us when you request a quote or browse this website.

Rytek Construction (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a residential construction and renovation company based in Upper Sackville, NS. We respect your privacy and only collect the information we need to respond to your enquiry and run our business. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us. When you fill out a quote request form on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the description of the project you provide. If you call or email us directly, we keep the contact details and project details you share in that conversation.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site or search that referred you. We use Google Tag Manager and the analytics tools it loads to understand how visitors find and use the site. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, banking credentials, or health information. Please do not include anything like that in a quote request.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing campaigns.

We keep quote requests for as long as needed to follow up on the enquiry, and we keep records relating to completed projects for as long as required for warranty, insurance, and tax purposes. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or otherwise dispose of it securely.
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to quote submissions is limited to the people at Rytek Construction who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to guard against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
Under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also withdraw your consent to our use of your information at any time, though this may mean we are no longer able to quote on or continue your project.

Our services are directed to homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact us and we will remove it.
